May newsletter

Hi Folks,

I hope you are all keeping well and coping with lockdown. I have been enjoying my garden and appreciating all the more the luxury of having outdoor space, I live close enough to the seafront so that I can walk along the coastline a little, another bonus.

New for you this month is an initiative founded by English artist Matthew Burrows named 'Artist Support Pledge'. The idea is that artists who have now found themselves out of work, without gallery sales and exhibitions cancelled agree to sell their art for £200 [or equivalent] and when they sell five, they buy from another participating artist.

It's a fantastic idea that has really taken off with 100,000 posts and £20 million generated already. Anyone can buy and you'll find it on Instagram using the hashtag artistsupportpledge. You'll also find my work on facebook annflynnart. I don't post these offers to my website as they sell on instagram or facebook only by sending me a message, first one gets the painting. If you see something you like but it is sold, or are looking for something in particular, let me know and I will give you advance notice.

Here are some that are available, remember the prices are reduced by up to 50%, they are unframed however I still have a few frames left in different sizes. Postage is extra on these [ €15 within Irl ] or you can collect from my gate if you live near me, I have long arms! Message me on 086 7272277 if you would like to buy any of these.

Thank you to all of you who have purchased already, you have helped me and other artists to continue working -I have already bought two gorgeous paintings, so please check it out.

Poolbeg and the wooden bridge 20x50cm €200 unframed plus p&p

Dunlaoghaire from Sandycove 25x30cm €200 unframed plus p&p [advance notice]

'Summer dress' 20x25cm €200 unframed plus p&p [advance notice]

Also from the beginning of May I will be participating in 'Art in lockdown' on facebook, find out more here.

Keep well everyone and thanks for your continued support.

-Ann
