  Royal Ulster Academy annual exhibition 2018 I loved seeing all the fabulous work at the Royal Ulster Academy annual exhibition and delighted to have my work selected for inclusion, held in the Ulster museum, Belfast, it runs until the 6th of January 2019. New Route

'River Liffey, early morning' 60x60cm €950 I was crossing the Samuel Beckett Bridge one morning dropping my daughter into town, I don't normally go this way but as the Pope was in town, road closures forced me on a different route. I was taken aback by the early morning light on the river so I came back the same way and took some photos. I've been experimenting a lot this summer, trying some new landscapes and abstracts, this is one of my latest on my new route! What do you think? 'Clearing skies, Sandymount' 20x60cm   Here are a couple of my latest oil paintings which all have a winter feel about them, don't ask me why! I just love painting this long, narrow, horizontal shape and I'm really pleased with how these have turned out, what do you think?  'Between showers, Sandymount' 20x76cm I enjoyed a break from the heat- in my mind anyway- to paint these hardy souls, braving the cold wet weather, for a brisk winter walk along the wet sandy beach.
