These cards feature one of my very favourite paintings depicting annual Bloomsday celebrations which take place all over Dublin commemorating the novel ‘Ulysses’ by James Joyce. Here we see the revellers dressed in traditional costume of the day when the novel is set, 16th of June 1904.
